Classification of Vertebrates

Recently I've decided to drop my Genus Index pages as previously configured and use a new, more efficient method. This new method is low maintenance on my part (which is a plus since the species indexes and galleries are about all I can handle at this time). It also directs users of this site to better sources of this information. The books, magazines, etc. can sometimes be found at your local library (actually they should be, but due to a limited budget libraries must extend their resources over a broad range of subjects). If they aren't, the nearest natural history museum should have access to them or know where you can access them. Some of these sources aren't very comprehensive (in an overall view of a Class, i.e. Mammalia, Aves, etc.). Those that are have 5 stars in parenthesis (*****) behind them.
